Family Sessions
I will create a space where your family can be themselves unscripted and unrestrained.
Think of it as a day out with the family, where I’m just tagging along with my camera, ready to catch those candid moments of joy, mischief, and affection. What sets my approach apart is my understanding of the spontaneous nature of families; I know that the best moments often come unplanned. Whether it’s a sudden group hug, a race along the beach, or a quiet moment of contemplation, I’m there to capture it all.

It's so much more about the experience than it is about striking a perfect pose.
That's why I don't believe in forcing people to stand frozen, fake-smiling, staring endlessly at the camera. When we revisit our childhood family photos, undoubtedly, our favorites are the ones that reveal who and how we were — the unexpected moments, the playful expressions, and the genuine emotions unfolding in each frame.
Each family is Different and unique
It's precisely those differences that I aim to capture, not perfection. Through photography, I want to document the moments that may seem small but express big feelings, allowing you to feel (again) and remember, reflecting on the authentic experience shared and created at that moment in time.

As a mom of three, I totally understand. Kids can respond to their surroundings in unpredictable ways. With several years of working with young children, as well as older kids, I assure you that your child’s energy, emotions, and even stubborn moments won’t faze me. We’ll take our time, allowing space for calming tears, finding compromises, and capturing those joyful moments when they come.

Hawaii’s weather can be unpredictable, with quick rain showers being fairly common, especially in certain areas. However, these showers often pass quickly and can add a unique, beautiful element to your photos. If you're comfortable with a little rain, we can still go ahead with the shoot — it often results in some stunning images! But if it’s a heavy downpour, we can certainly reschedule for a better day.

If you have any specific props in mind, like a cozy blanket, a picnic setup, or an extra outfit, feel free to bring them along. For little ones, consider packing neutral-colored toys that will blend nicely into the photos. Snacks are also great for keeping them content and smiling — just opt for sweet treats or crisps, nothing too messy, especially for toddlers. For couples, a bottle of prosecco can add a lovely touch! Yes, you can download your images as many times as you like and share the gallery with friends and family for them to download as well. The gallery will be accessible online for a period of 3 months, so make sure to save all your images securely. You have the option to print your photos either through the shop linked to the gallery or on your own. If you choose to print them yourself, I recommend using a professional printing lab for the best quality.

I'm currently based in Oahu, Hawaii, but I love to travel! Inter-island trips to Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island are available for an additional fee.

I typically schedule sessions at sunrise or sunset, when the light is at its best! The exact timing depends on the season. We're aiming for soft, magical lighting, capturing the first hour just before sunrise or the last hour before sunset. If you have any specific requests, please feel free to email me to discuss them.
